Yesterday Police.uk launched an amazing new service that lets you search last month’s crime statistics in any specified area of the UK and displays them beautifully. We’ve only just been able to get on and have a look as demand was so high yesterday the servers went down.

This type of service will prove invaluable for home buyers, ‘curtain twitchers’ and anyone wanting to know which dark ally to avoid on their walk home.

Naturally the first thing we did was to see how our office fared:
