Facebook is adding support for hashtags, meaning members can tune into what others are saying on a particular topic and keep up to date with what’s trending online. Although previous restrictions didn’t stop happy Facebookers hashtagging everything and anything in their posts, they now have a firm reason to continue.
Facebook have said, ‘We’ll continue to roll out more features in the coming weeks and months, including trending hashtags and deeper insights, that help people discover more of the world’s conversations.’
