We’re very pleased to have launched the refreshed website for Silva Timber this month.
As one of the UK’s leading importers of speciality timber products, the company is going from strength to strength and needed a new site to reflect their continued growth.
Their first website was developed back in 2010 and was created in a single Magento e-commerce installation. Since then, we have built two additional sites onto the same platform for their two divisions, Silva Coatings and Silva Wood Floorings.
Now in version two, the new site is fully responsive, meaning it works seamlessly across all devices such as mobile phones and tablets, as well as screen. The improved product filtering facility was designed from scratch and there’s a wealth of product information to help enhance sales.
Each Silva Timber website features a detailed shipping module, which has been custom designed and developed around their complex product bundles. The site features a detailed UK delivery service, a resource centre for architects and designers, and full customer account management.
