WordPress 4.0 has launched today, less than half a year after the 3.9 release.
The update, which is affectionately named ‘Benny,’ boasts a range of new features including:
- New media library grid, with easy editing
- Seamless video embedding
- Simple content creation; the editor expands as you write and keeps formatting tools available
- New plugin installer with advanced metrics, an improved search and a more visual browsing experience
